Bombs and bullets will only increase the paranoia and victimhood of JW's.
Weaponry and violence only works in the movies. Having said that, I am utterly shocked that more violence has not been targeted on the GB for all their crimes against against children and families.
It seems that even criminals agree that dumb gullible people deserve what they allow.

Did the WT Policy on Lying Bother You When You Were a JW?

I remembered the phrase “you do not owe the truth to somebody who doesn’t deserve it”.
@ LHG
I think this is where the average JW lands. JW's are extremely evasive and prefer this tactic to outright lies. However, if they do "need" to lie (for peoples own good of course) I find they will look for alternative definitions of words, or at least see if a double meaning can be derived so as to improve the overall moral character of the lie. If the recipient doesn't understand the double meaning, it isn't the JW's fault, or so they reason.
You make many other good points as well in your post.
Why do you hear the same cliche remarks from coast to coast - whether you are in California or the East Coast?
Downright creepy.

Question for JW's: Is Jesus the Mediator of Your Prayers ?
by Sea Breeze inpraying to god “through the son jesus” has nothing to do with christ as mediator.. do jw's even know what a mediator does?.
i am in the insurance restoration construction business and have been in mediation many times when a policy holder sues an insurance company for not paying everything they believe is due them under the terms of their policy for property damage.. i am brought in as a technical expert.. in mediation, the plaintiff (policy holder) and the defendant (insurance company) are placed in separate rooms, they do not talk to each other.
they are separated because the dispute has alienated the one from the other.

From time to time people who still adhere to Watchtower insanity try to insinuate, even claim that there are two covenants in the New Testament and not one. This is then used as justification for rejecting the one that is actually in the bible "for the forgiveness of sins" in favor of an imaginary one where you get to work for your salvation and Justification (forgiveness of sins) for a thousand years.
@Rattigan:
THERE ARE NOT TWO COVENANTS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT. The very name proves there is only one. THE (singular) New Testament (covenant or contract)
Please provide a Watchtower quote that supports the heretical claim that there are two covenants in the NT. Even Watchtower has NEVER claimed something this ridiculous. Prove me wrong.
The Greek word for "testament" means a covenant or contract. There are only 2 contracts that God has instituted for the forgiveness of sins - an old one mediated by Moses. and a new one mediated by Jesus. That is why the bible is divided by the two contracts, ie. the old testament (contract) and the new testament (contract). The entire book of Hebrews describes the details of the new covenant and how it is so much better than the old contract.
E-Sword is powerful free bible software and has KJV words keyed to Strong’s. It makes it very easy to look up and compare Greek and English words. See below:
Rom_11:27 For G2532 this G3778 is (G3844) my G1700 covenant G1242 unto them, G846 when G3752 I shall take away G851 their G848 sins. G266
Apostle Paul reiterates what this covenant is for in Romans 11: 27 above - taking away sins. English words are tied to Strong's so that it makes it easy for you to look up Greek meanings. Here is what the English word “Covenant” looks like:
Strong’s G1242 :
διαθήκη
diathēkē
dee-ath-ay'-kay
From G1303; properly a disposition, that is, (specifically) a contract (especially a devisory will): - covenant, testament.
Total KJV occurrences: 33
In Luke, Jesus doesn’t make another covenant as you suggest. He appoints Christians to a Kingdom under the terms of, or as a result of, the new covenant “for the forgiveness of sins.
(Luke 22:29) And I G2504 appoint G1303 unto you G5213 a kingdom, G932 as G2531 my G3450 Father G3962 hath appointed G1303 unto me; G3427
Strong’s G1303 :
διατίθεμαι
diatithemai
dee-at-ith'-em-ahee
Middle voice from G1223 and G5087; to put apart, that is, (figuratively) dispose (by assignment, compact or bequest): - appoint, make, testator.
Total KJV occurrences: 7
Two completely different Greek words here; and trying to make them mean that we are talking about two covenants, not one is not supported.
Like I said, Watchtower never claims there are two covenants, only one - “for the forgiveness of sins”.
Watchtower theology is a thoroughly wicked and Satanic religious system that has gone to great lengths to trick people into rejecting the contract God offered to “whosoever” that guarantees the forgiveness of YOUR sins.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the teaching that Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant for the anointed 144,000 only.
Sure there is Rattigan, and it is huge. If Christians are supposed to personally reject the new covenant "for forgiveness of sins" Jesus offered in Mt, 26: 27-28, then there must be some other NT scripture that shows how a person can get their sins forgiven OUTSIDE OF THE NEW COVENANT.. You cannot produce such a new testament scripture can you? No, you cannot. It doesn't exist.
Romans 5: 1&9 says that because we are justified we have peace with God. And, because we are justified we will escape God's wrath. You cannot change this scripture no matter how much you may want to. It is there. Anyone can read it, understand it, and decide if they want peace with God or not.
Yet, your church (Watchtower) says people can no longer be justified. They say to just trust them to attain peace with God and avoid his wrath. This is anti-Christ Rebellion full stop. -

Self control fruits of the spirit. Fat GB seem to lack it
by JohnR1975 infruits of the spirit would surely be required to be gb members?
yet some of them seem to lack self control when it comes to eating.
br herd, mark sanderson and br jackson in these are all very obese.. if they travel to poor places wearing their rolex watches and gold pinky rings the brothers there will surely wonder why they are so fat.. there are many scriptures talking about not being greedy and not gluttonous for food.. if they were really chosen by god as his channel on earth then why can’t they show the fruits of the spirit and show self control when it comes to being gluttonous?.

He was the mediator of the new covenant with spiritual Israel.
Rattigan,
That isn't what scripture says is it? Scriptures says: "There is ONE mediator between God and men, a man Christ Jesus". "He is the Mediator of the New Covenant" - Hebrews 9: 15
Consider:
1. There are zero NT scriptures that explain how a person can get their sins forgiven OUTSIDE the new covenant.2. The new covenant is "for the forgiveness of sins" for "many" not few. (See Mt. 26: 27-27)
3. The message of the Apostles and the Christian church is to be reconciled with God (2 Cor. 5: 18-19) Once you are reconciled to God, you are justified, meaning you have no sin debt.
4. The two-tier Salvation WT tries to sell was unknown to the apostles.5. If anyone preaches a different message than the apostles, they are twice cursed. (See Gal. 1: 8-9)
6. Once we are justified, we have peace with God and are saved from his wrath (Romans 5: 1& 9)
7. Salvation is available to "whosoever" not limited. (John 3: 16, Acts 2: 21, Luke 112: 8, Romans 10: 13)
8. Jesus 3 times told Nicodemus that a person MUST be born again. When we are born again we get a new spirit, one that is sinless and can then fellowship with God. The Spirit of Christ then occupies the believers body (the true temple of God) See Col. 1: 26-27 & 2 Cor. 6: 16
The Watchtower denies every one of these points related to Salvation.
"Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." - Romans 8: 9

Jesus is the priest that... mediates prayers for us.
But that is not the sense specified in scripture, is it? No. "He is the Mediator of the New Covenant" - Hebrews 9: 15
This is the definition the Lord wants us to know.
I already illustrated what a mediator is by my own first hand experience in my opening post. Your description diminishes Jesus to an errand boy in my estimation.
Websters 1828 says this:
MEDIA'TOR, noun One that interposes between parties at variance for the purpose of reconciling them.
1. By way of eminence, Christ is the mediator the divine intercessor through whom sinners may be reconciled to an offended God. Tim.2.
Reconciliation is achieved only through the blood covering, the one JW's reject each Satanic version of the Lords supper.
Mt. 26: 26-28 : Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take and eat. This is My body.” Then He took the cup, and after He gave thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.@joey jojo
"He makes the sun rise on both the evil and the good and sends rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous." Matt 5:45

Here's the WT standard for lying:
"While malicious lying is definitely condemned in the Bible, this does not mean that a person is under obligation to divulge truthful information to people who are not entitled to it" - Insight pp. 244-245vs. Websters Dictionary:
LIE, noun
1. A criminal falsehood; a falsehood uttered for the purpose of deception; an intentional violation of truth.
Watchtower seems to say that it is OK to lie as long as it is not "malicious". Of course, the liar gets to decide if he is malicious or not.

What is the Craziest Thing You Are Aware Of Someone Being Disfellowshipped For?
by Sea Breeze ini knew a lady who was disfellowshipped for 20 years for smoking.
she finally went back to the kh and since they couldn't find her paperwork, (all the former elders were dead) she was allowed back in without reinstatement.
no one even remembered her.
